my family of stutterers got help with The Stuttering Foundation's book "Self Therapy for the Stutterer" and all have become very fluent after working through the steps one at a time and then going back through again - practice, practice, practice. One uncle also went to a speech therapist who specialized in treating stuttering. He found her through the Foundation. They now have a web site at www.stutteringhelp.org and you can find a specialist in your area under "referrals."

There are many treatments available for stuttering. Some people have to be completely retaught how to speak. There is help out there.
Is it true that people who stutter while speaking can sing without stuttering? I find that fascinating.
good luck =)

I had a similar problem with my son, he nevertheless some situations stutters, particularly whilst he gets excited, I tell him to decelerate, take a breath, and attempt back. If that still would not artwork for you, then you definately might desire to probable take to a speach expert..

Have you tried taking speech therapy? I've seen a few people overcome speech impediments from taking speech therapy. Maybe that would help

Stuttering all has to do with genetics and there is nothing that can be done. you can maybe laugh it off and use humor to get past it.
