My computer has WordPerfect but Corel has no updates since it is considered obsolete. I only want to write and print. Don't need spreadsheets or power points. Is there anything available

You can download OpenOffice.org here: www.openoffice.org
When you install it, only check off "OpenOffice.org Writer" since you only want a word processor program.

Not sure if you can download pieces of openoffice, instead of downloading the whole thing (it's free alternative to Microsoft office).
