and how can it be blasphemy? the pope is a human being not god.he is just a man.an 80 year old virgin who i expect has had very little life experience..certainly not with relationships,marriage,divorce,children.

NO. You obviously aren't Catholic otherwise you would know the meaning of the white robes. The beads you refer to are Rosary beads that are used by many Catholics when they pray.
By the way have you noticed some men in middle eastern countries swing and play with beads too. Are they gay? No I think not.
