My friends are telling me that he may be on a great run this year, and may even win his 1st Cup race and contend for the championship, but in a year or two he'll just fall off and be one of those drivers who won't be running up front anymore, won't be winning races, and possibly not even making a few races. I'm upset right now, because a couple friends of mine were telling me he's never going to go anywhere in NASCAR as a driver. In fact, they say their isn't many younger drivers today that will advance in their career, and Bowyer was one of them.

Can I get some opinions on this?

I personally think Bowyer will continue to get better and be the top driver for RCR. I see him becoming a champion someday and a top 5 driver year after year. Thats my opinion. I'm not going to give up on him, I chose him as my fav. driver because he's young and has potential, and will be a dominating factor in the years to come. I know he will be successful.

No way. I think Bowyer is the best driver yet to win a race. I believe he will be around fighting for wins for years to come. With RCR behind him and Burton and Harvick as team mates, he will only get better. He is the future of RCR.

I would not call Bowyer a "Fly By Night Driver." Your friends are wrong this year has been a good year for progressing rookies with the exception of Brent Sherman and Reed Sorenson. Look at J.J. Yeley who is up 12 spots since last year. Look at Martin Truex Jr. who is up 9 spots since last year and is ahead in points of teammate Dale Earnhardt Jr. Look at David Stremme who is up 8 spots since last year. Clint Bowyer is up 6 spots since last year. Denny Hamlin is already a star but he has risen a spot from last year. Juan Montoya is going to be rookie of the year this year and he is well on his way to success if he can stay out of wrecks. To say that the rookies and future of nascar is weak or not advancing is incorrect and very incorrect at that.

Boyer has the ability to be a decent driver. He just needs a little more experience. Someone mentioned Mikey Waltrip, he has never won much but he is a huge success. Look at Jr. He has never really done anything on this level and he is the #1 fan favorite. Boyer will surpass both of them.

First of all.........don't let other people's opinions get to ya!

Now.....Clint is a very talented driver..and just look who he's driving for? NOT A LOSER!!!

No, I don't think he's a fly-by-night driver. He has the incentive to win and be a winner...and with the backing he has...
he's going right on up with the rest of the young guns!

You stick by your driver..and your belief in him.....let the other guys do their thing...

One day...they'll see...maybe sooner than they think!

Hang in their bud...don't let em get to ya!

FREE THE EIGHT!

I think its just the theory of young guys not getting respect. Boywer is going to be great in the coming years. hes already showed promise. Many of the young guys have. Look at truex, mears they have won this year. Sorenson is the youngest guy in cup and he would have one atleast twice if not for bad gas mileage.

I agree with that one dude. I suspect his first win is just around the corner. He has ran consistently near the front.
To me he will be around for a long while doing well. With his talent, owner and sponsors he is set to go far.

Hey, McMurray was being called a one shot wonder. Mikey Waltrip never really impressed me, he's a millionaire. What your friends are doing is "joshing" you cause they know it upsets you.
