Well i was at the hospital a while ago. (i have diabetes) and was at a regular check up when i recieved a text message of an unknown number saying "I hope you die you fat f**k" then preceded to get more texts when i started to question this person. I have since found out who it was and i feel a strong need to get them back...big style. I dont want to resort to violence as thats not in my nature but im tempted lol. As you can tell it upset me slightly its not everyday that i get messages like that and i have never had a problem with this person before. Some of my friends approcahed him and his excuse was that "it was funny, a laugh" anyone got any ideas.

Sorry... just to clarify.
1)i didnt actually have the phone on in the hospital i got them after when i was having lunch.
2)i am not friends with this creep.
3) i also have a girlfriend who is in the same year as this guy (im a year older) so when i leave i dont wanna cause any trouble for her.
4) i understand it sounds petty but to me it was serious considering at the time i did not know who it was and for that i feel more wronged.
Thanks for some very funny answers and supportive comments they have made me feel loads better.

if you still have the messages on your phone.... you might consider going to the Police, he will possibly get arrested for the nature of the texts, its very intimidating...
It wont get to court, but he will be cautioned... what better revenge and an important lesson to him!!
Being cautioned in a cop shop will put the fear of God up him!!!

He is out of order here, and you're right to feel wrong. However, don't get him back, keep yourself in the right and stay away.
keep the msgs and contact the Police. Depending on the nature of all the texts he may receive a warning prohibiting him from contacting you or possibly even be arrestable.
If you react, you may be prosecuted or make it seem as if he had some justification for what he'd done.

I think you should approach him personally and tell him that this was not funny at all, and ask for an apology. You may not get one but this will put him on the spot big time as he was probably not expecting to be accountable for this. I don't think revenge will give you a sense of closure on this. It never does, as two wrongs don't make a right. The motive behind revenge is you want to be understood. You want the other person to know how that made you feel. The best way to do that is to confront him and tell him how it made you feel.

two ideas. Find website offering ringtones etc on £3 weekly subscription and sign up with this number. Or else go to public toilet and write number on wall with 'call ------ for a good time big boys' much better than violence and funnier as well

i would keep all the texts and call the police, you will have enough on them to get them arrested and charged, you would also have grounds to get a injunction on them, i would scare them back the right way, i don't find it very funny at all, he is a very sick man, i would report it, then you will have the last laugh, keep strong and keep fighting it,you will win in the end, keep safe all the best

Just a thought....Do you think he did this to teach you a lesson, knowing you have your mobile phone on in a hospital?
revenge idea..
*if he has a car, advertise it "for sale", bargain price(stupidly low price). I have seen this done and it was so funny. It was a company car and started thinking employer was gonna sack them.

OOOOH, But you mus'nt think that way!!
You need to get down on an old fashioned alter, and ask God to forgive you for thinking such things, and ask Him to come into your heart and life!!
Then go to that person and tell them that you are sorry that they feel that way about you, and then stay away from them, the bible says to 'avoid the very appearance of evil' so the best thing you can do for that person is pray for them, and ask God to deal with their heart as well!
God bless!

Vegence is mine says the Lord. Ignore him. If he did that to you, he is no friend. I understand all too well the desire to get back at him. He'll get his before long, and it will be far more than you could do on your own. Trust me, I've been there before.

I know you are really p*ssed, but this person sounds like they are not all there upstairs. To say something like that to you or anyone is horrible. I can't immagine what he'd say or do if he was upset with you. With friends like him who needs enemies.
