y does my doggs poop smell?

Feed a high quality food that doesn't contain by-products.
Also if you feed your dog foods that contains beef or any kind of red meat it will make the poop smell more. Feed you dog white meat only like Chicken, turkey or fish dog foods to lessen the smelly poop.

What kind of food are you feeding it? If it's on a filler based diet such as Iams, science diet, puppy chow, pedigree, ect the digested fillers are causing the smell. Try switching to a better quality food such as Innova Evo or Canidae. Keep in mind you don't have to feed as much so one bag may last twice as long as a bag of low quality food in the same size.

it depends on what you feed your dog.. i tried alpo and pedigree.., and oh it smells bad.. hahaha.. im trying a dogfood called integrity,. the smell is minimized.. be sure to pick the poop and clean it.. so it wont have smell,. potty train your dog so it will not poop anywhere..
