If you do that then you will be charged and prosecuted for entering a country illegal and get sent back to USA. The only way to get in is to go through the border inspection site. USA is really watching the border now right across from east to west even under water and above water. My suggest is not to. Did you commit a crime or something?

If you have to cross where there is no border patrol we dont want you here - what do you plan to do in Canada anyhow? Cant work without a social insurance number, cant rent a place if you cant work, cant register for any assistance, cant get a drivers license or whatever. No medical insurance.
Stay home like I said we dont want you, but if you want to send me your name, address, etc .feel free.

You are kidding, right? In this day of terrorism threats you don't want to be caught doing that. Both the US and Canada have random patrols in vehicles, aircraft, on foot, horseback, snowmobile in the winter, etc that we do not even know about. They publicize some just to let us know they are there. There are no honest people that try to cross illegally, except for really dumb ones.

I think you might be able to swim over the border at Niagara Falls. I don't think they have boats patrolling the edges of the falls. Try a barrel you'll be fine!

don't worry about the border patrol.
just drive up to the border, and tell them you're transporting firearms. they love a good joke, and they'll waive you through.
