No, it is an automatic disqualifier if you'd had asthma afte the age of 13. They do not grant waivers for it either.

My brother is an asthmatic and after ten years his asthma has shown no sign of improving. He has been to several doctors but they didn't help much.

If you want a proven, all-natural way to cure your asthma, without having to pay for useless medications with harmful side-effects, then this is the most important page you'll ever read.

Okay so the real answer is that if he has seen a doctor for it after age 12 he will be disqualified. I have known people who have just not mentioned it since they didn't use an inhaler on a regular basis and knew they would not need one to make it through basic training. But that was wrong and deceitful and if they are found out it could cause a discharge and other bad stuff. It is a risk they chose to take (wink wink)

No. That's the truth. Any asthma after age 13 is a total disqualifier.

There is no waiver no matter what anyone who posts here says.

He has been to countless docs yet they did no longer help lots. in case you like a shown, all-organic thank you to treatment your bronchial asthma, without needing to pay for ineffective drugs with risky factor-outcomes, then it is the main severe internet site you will ever study.

If he still has it then he can't join. If he only had it as a kid then he may be able to get a waiver. One big thing is don't lie about it, if he does he will only hurt himself.

Nope. A former co-worker of mine wanted to enlist in the Corps, but was rejected due to his asthma. Sorry.

Since asthma restricts air to the lungs, he would not pass
his fitness test.
