Not only that but the crucified deity and the father deity are the same god, even though the human prays to the father in heaven while living on earth.

For many different reasons
Generally, most people read or hear something and get married to the idea. Once they are married to the idea, they want everyone to believe in it - and if there are others who dont join in their ideas they hate or dislike them.
Look around and see how many people have died or killed in the name of religions! From the holy crusades, islamic wars, abortion issues etc - All because there are others who do not believe in their ideas. Everyone can justify their ideas based on books (religious books too). Just as a christian is adamant about the bible and the jew is adamant about the Torah and the Muslim about the Koran and everyone has their own claim!
Reality of the matter is - We may argue about the name of God, but God does not care what you call him. Just love him with all your heart. This is the one unifying thing of all religions. If you love God, then why would you hurt his other children? So, if we hold one evil thought about anyone or we tell others that you will go to hell etc, we are judging others. That is God and God's alone role to judge and decide who goes where. How can we with our limited intellect ever even begin to fathom the how and why of God.
Our only role is to love God with all our might. Call him what you like, he does not care. Jesus, even when crucified, forgave those who crucified him. Do you think he would not forgive anyone who calls him by a different name?
God, Let their be peace and love in everyones heart!
