You can over train, which does some really bad things for your body, like fatigue issues and the inability to burn fat since something similar to the starvation effect comes in. You also run the risk of breaking down your knee joints if you don't rest in between runs.
That said, 25 minutes a day is not very much, and probably won't produce any of these symptons. If you up your running time you will have to consider that though.

Its fine to run everyday. It sounds like you're running between two and three miles per day, which is great for cardio health and increased weight loss and metabolism. Just make sure you dont get really tired or dizzy when you do run, as it could be an indicator of bigger problems. And be sure to drink plenty of water, as much as 12 glasses a day is not overkill. Good luck!

I suggest at least 1 day a week off or for cross-training. I look back at the injuries I've had, and almost every one I can equate to an extended streak of running every day.
A day of rest is as good as a day of training.

Taking one day off a week won't effect your running, rest actually improves it.
You shouldn't run everyday though, it is hard on your knees. You should mix it up with some non impact cardio such as: Biking, Elliptical, Stationary Bike, Swimming etc. All of these are great cardio workouts and some of them actually burn more calories than running.

I coach highschool track and cross country. Taking one day of a week will not affect your stamina or speed. It will also offer your body a day for recovery.
It also depends on your goals. If you are just trying to stay in shape, as opposed to training for a competiton, you may want to consider some cross-training to lower the stress on your legs and joints. Swimming and Biking are excellent ways to maintain fitness while lowering the stress on your joints.

that's perfectly fine because your body needs time to recover from the stress and workouts. It will make you feel sore on the day after your rest but your body will get accustommed to that. it will cause your running overall to improve as well as get faster

You will be fine. Actually you should stop one day out of the week to let your body rest.

definitely. just make sure you are warming up, stretching, and cooling down properly. these will keep you injury-free if performed properly. your running overall will not be affected seriously. keep up the good work!
