Does anyone know the names of the people who were disruptive in the Senate Chambers when the Hindu prayer was read?

Most Christians that I know would not make a scene like those people did. And I'm finding it hard to believe that an actual senator would make a scene like that either.

Are other people besides senators allowed in the Senate Chambers and is it possible that those visitors were the ones being disrespectful?

The Guardian reports that the traitors were members of a antiabortion-related group:

"Police identified the protesters as Ante and Katherine Pavkovic and their daughter Kristen, members of a Christian organisation called Operation Save America/Operation Rescue."

I noticed that many people here seem to have assumed that it was U.S. Senators who shouted the anti-American crap. It was not - it was visitors in the visitors' gallery.

None of them ought to be praying in the senate, yet there is not any particular clarification why the Christian's faith and prayers could outweigh the Hindu ones. this is, rather, merely user-friendly stupid.

I can't believe anyone would do such a thing and those people should be ashamed of themselves. I think that was a beautiful prayer and that man should have been welcomed to the Senate floor with open arms. In case anyone has forgotten, the First Amendment of our Constitution guarantees us all the right to FREEDOM of religion. Bravo to the Capitol police for arresting these lunatics!

No... But Re Your: "Most Xians that...":
“All three of our major religions -- Christianity, Islam and Judaism -- have a hateful idea at the very core. That idea is Exclusion: the "othering," if you like, of the unredeemed.” -- Matthew Parris

AND... PURE, VILE, UGLY (Hindu) INTOLERANCE!

RE *YOUR* Add Dtls.: JOSH McDowell LIVES!!! ... *THAT* was a *MOST* disgusting display of Christian BIGOTRY!... And 'Xians' have the gall to claim tolerance? ... This type of thing happens all the time and is precisely in line with - for instance - the Xian-based laws disallowing atheists public office! And Xianity wonders why it's being CHALLENGED?
( A scary aspect is that the real Josh McD's likey in his 30s. )

All I know is that 'Christian patriots' interrupted the Hindu prayer. There were three protesters who interrupted. When the Hindu fellow prepared to pray, a clear loud voice of one of the protesters said, "Lord Jesus, forgive us, Father, for allowing the prayer of the wicked, which is an abomination in your sight." There was more to this. Look at http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=56645

I say, "Yawn" just another Christian bunch of idiots.

I must've missed this debacle. I'll link to the ones provided and get back to you. I'll say this, though, before I do. Hindus are very humble and peaceful people. I have several Hindu friends, and they are truly a people whose examples are worthy of following. My family physician is Hindu.

I would support them if they tore down the Senate. America was formed under one God not 300 Hindu gods and goddesses. Christians do not reject their God by praying to another God. Our Senate has gone crazy to even allow it. This is blaspheming the God of America. This is rejecting the God who has so richly blessed this nation. George Washington's body turned over in his grave and vomited. What do you think Jesus would have done on that Senate floor? Would He have called them Vipers, White Washed Sepulchres and Hypocrits? Would Jesus have reminded them of the 10 Commandments to "not put any gods before Him."

Disrespectful - disrespectful - I hope our Senators raised their voices in refusal to accept such a prayer in their chambers.

What is a filthy Hindu prayer doing in the United States Senate chambers? As an American I am outraged!!!
Tolerance - tolerance, we are blaspheming the name of our God. "endowed by our Creator" "given in the year of our Lord" - Hindu's didn't write these words. Christians wrote these words.

We are giving our country to foreigners. We are forsaking our God and Savior Jesus Christ. We are spitting in the face of George Washington and our other forefathers.

What is wrong with our Senators? Hopefully, they all threw the Hindu prayer out.------------

I just read that not one Senator stood against the statement "the deity supreme in the heart of the earth" which is Satan. Our Senators just allowed a prayer to Satan in the Senate.

May God forgive us for this sinful act!

VDezzed: My God said put no other gods before Me. The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob whose Son is Jesus Christ is a jealous God. Britain has forgotten God and are you watching that nation come down swiftly.
