The future can be seen in any documentary about third world countries. The only way the morons in DC can help is to do the lemming bit. Hopefully Americans will wise up next year and not re-elect a single individual currently in office. Vote against every incumbent on the ballet.

Uh. Unemployment rate is at an all time low of 4.5% and you say jobs are leaving? Not as many as are being created obviously huh? What's in the future? An increasingly growing economy. Unless of course the dollar should climb too high. Have you ever studied world economics at all?

Well, the republicans were in charge the last 6 years of every branch of government from the senate, to the house, and the president and they did NOTHING absolutely NOTHING to stop or slow down illegals coming into this country. Now that they are here, it's stupid to think the day will come when someone will just round them up and take them back. All those who voted the repubs into office the past few years now have to lay in the bed they made when it comes to illegals

Not very bright. This is not anything that is just happening either...it has been in the works since Reagan was in office, if not before even. When Reagan deregulated everything, it gave the opening for the businesses to start to take over.

Exchange rates and offshoring are not as big a threat as they may seem, they're just the effect of other nations in the world finally becoming developed. Overall, though there will be some painful transitions, it's not a bad thing.
Illegal immigration, OTOH, is a very real problem. Immigration may be desireble, but the negatives of unregulated immigration outwiegh the positives. It's something we have to fix, or it could be the downfall of our civilization (no, I'm not exagerating).
