Much of what Buddhism says about near death experiences often likens some things to like what Dante wrote... in description of the bardo between death and rebirth.

ndes have been debunked as dreams of a dying brain a scientist has induced near death experiacnces in himself and others with one of those machines you use to test astronauts the high g force caused blood and oxygen to be cut off from the brain and the people lost conciousness and all had dreams of white lights and tunnels and standing outside their bodies

not even relevant NDE's are very mundane in how they work, basically someone goes into EMD and the heart doesn't work the AV and SN nodes don't fire right, your basically dead, you start dreaming, whoops, in NDE's allah has been right, God has been right, im sure Posiedon Zues and thaw have too
