Is life harder as a guy or as a girl?

I'm of the opinion that no ones opinion is worth very much where this issue is concerned because no one can reasonably step outside of themselves (or their own experiences) to consider the complexities of life from the other side. Only one thing is certain: life isn't easy for anyone, but there is a great advantage to achieving a state of being at peace with ones self.

Are you kidding of course it is as a guy!!! Women have all the power of when you are going to have sex. How much free time you have when you are married. When you have kids you are really in trouble because then they "women" have you by the balls. So that is just a few reason why it is harder to be a man.

personal opinion guys.... lots of competition(in work and at play), in relationships it seems like we have to build a lot (job, degree, fitness) and once it goes south it's hard to build it back up while girls can easy get a new guy at any time. Girls do a lot of the same stuff but I think it's easier for an attractive girl to move on after a relationship then a guy. personally

Never having been there, I suspect that being a guy, might have it's own problems, and I have observed that guys tend to not discuss alot of things unlike girls. They tend to have to prove to themselves that they can do things , not always a bad thing. In my opinion there is an insecurity with youth weather it is boy or girl and some how most of them manage to grow and mature and become responsible adults , making their share of mistakes along the way, and hopefully learning from them along the way.

personally i think it's harder to be a girl because, they have to live up to the expectations of not only guys but friends and family. and not to mention all of the fun stuff like you're period and pregnancy. and emotionally a lot of girls are unstable. i'm not sure tho because i don't know all the downs about guys.

i think a guy has more stress....he has to ask the girl out, fix the car, upkeep the house, provide a place to live, he has to ask the girl to marry him, and the guy as a big possibility of of not succeeded in these few task. But i will say at least the guy doesn't have to worry about having any kids, he just has to ensure the kid is safe.....that is just my opinion.

Female - it's more expensive tampons, pads, bras, toilet paper, clothes, many products that men use as well are marketed towards women AND are more expensive (shaving cream, razors)
Female - it's more expensive and we get paid less!

Female- we are judged as prudes, sluts, bitches, hos dumb bad drivers, ball busters etc.

Female- we are expected to find a man to validate our mere existence in the world from the popular boyfriend, prom date, husband.

Female- We are judged as generic- "All women like flowers, candy" "All women should know how to cook" "All women want men with lots of money (this is known as the ugly man's mantra)

Female- we are viewed as objects the porn industry profits on this using the excuses "Sex sells" and "Those women want to do this, they get paid well for it etc"

Female- The biggest risk factor in being a crime victim is being female

my opinion women. women have to work harder to succeed in the professional world. we have the pain of giving birth to children.
