You are hot to trot means you look really sexy and ready for sex. Yes take it as a compliment. Don't short change your physical pleasure by trying not be easy. What sense does that make. If you like a guy and already have sex, why not be "easy" Why make it difficult for either one of you. Don't play those stupid games. If you like the guy and you want to have sex with him just have sex with him instead of being hard to get. What sense does that make. It is deceptive anyway .

The phrase "hot to trot" can often be taken to mean that a girl is frisky, sexually excited, ready to put out, etc. Perhaps he accidentally mixed his metaphors and said "you are too hot to trot", thinking that it simply meant "you're hot". People get their expressions confused all the time, so don't assume he was insulting you unless he gives you another reason to think so.

Be offended. No man should refer to a lady as "hot to trot". Men should treat you with respect and honor and nothing less. (unless you are dressed like a lady of the night)

I *think* it's a compliment...old fashioned, but a compliment. I wouldn't take it as an insult.

Well if you really like this dude than u should take it as a compliment. But if he is one of those players that goes out with girls for like 1 week then breaks their heart i would take it as an insult.

It's offensive. It means you're in heat, and maybe don't even care who is in front of you. Unless he's a foreigner who doesn't speak English well, I think it's safe to say you've been insulted.

i think it depends on who you are talking to a male friend might mean it as a compliment but a male you dont really know might mean it another way

Well, it does mean your attractive...maybe too attractive. He wants someone "less" good looking so that possibly he doesn't have to worry about other men getting in the way.
Just an idea.
