How old are they?

I rescued Maggie from an abusive home about 4 years ago-best dog you could imagine.

I got Marty, my mini doxie from a "back yard" breeder.. the woman treated her animals horribly! I should have taken them all and reported her.

Viv was emaciated and a street dog, I found him eating trash in my yard one day.

Jimmy was the same as Viv, except he looked like he was someone's pet (pure bred Rat Terrier). No one ever claimed him.

My fiance has 2 border collie mixes from the shelter.

Two. We got them both last year in August/September.

Ginger - was rescued off the street by my friends who could not keep her. JRT/Westie mix. Female, approx 2yrs old now.

Foxy Cleopatra - adopted from the shelter. Chi/ITG mix. Female, approx. 3-5yrs old now. Just diagnosed with epilepsy. Has an aversion to most men and other dogs other than Ginger.

Love them both, but Ginger is more teachable and eager to please. Foxy has a mind of her own, and it's made up already... she's learning, but much slower. Now with her special needs, she's only going to be more spoiled/forgiven. :)

I have two. My older dog Maggie is about 10 1/2. I rescued her off the streets in1997. She had been picked up by animal control several times and talked to the owner and she didn't want her back. We obviously got attached and she has been with us ever since. She is a spaniel mix and as sweet as she can be. After our boxer passed a going on 2 years ago we got Dixie a Boston Terrier. Yes we did get her from a breeder. She is 1 1/2 and full of energy and keeps Maggie on her toes. She was great for Maggie since she is older it gets her playing more.

I have three dogs aged 2 1/2, 1 1/2 and 6 months. The oldest and youngest came from rescue. The middle one came from a byb too but she is lovely and was well bred, then i found out how many dogs were in rescue.

I have 6. A 6 year old collie named Noah that I bought, a 2 year old border collie/lab named Lightning that I adopted from an accidental litter, 2 yearling mixbreeds that were rescues (a puppy rescue group pulled them out of a shelter where they were about to be euthanized and transported them from the US to Canada and I then adopted them), and two 4 month old border collies that I adopted from a border collie rescue. Their mom was surrendered to the rescue pregnant.

My Shep. Mix, Caesar, passed away last Aug. We rescued him from under a car when he was 4 months old.

I also have 3 American Eskimos
Wolfer: I got him from a friend that no longer wanted him. He was 4 months old at the time. He is now 5 yrs old!

Jake: He was my first foster dog. I knew immediately that I was going to end up adopting him. He has been with me now for almost 4 years and is 6 yrs. old.

Tigger: My niece was going to get rid of him. I knew what his fate would have ended up being. He was and still is very very willful, and most likely would have ended up in a shelter. She finally gave him to me. And he was 3 1/2 months old at the time!

All of mine are all rescues in their own way!

Forgot to mention my Shep mix was going on 12 when he passed away. I miss my "old man" deeply! He was the best dog anyone could have asked for!

We have seven dogs. A blue heeler that we adopted during the hours when our animal shelter was set up at Pet's Mart. A Basenji mix given to us by a friend. He belonged to my mother's friend, who was killed. An Irish-Setter Collie mix we adopted along with our Pit Bull mix. A German Short Haired Pointer we found starving when we went to tend to a friend's cats while he was out of town. A Shitzu mix we were given about fifteen years ago. Collie my mother saw an ad for. He was the victim of a divorce and wasn't neglected as in he wasn't fed but he was very attention starved and unsure of how to act around people who actually wanted to pet him when we first got him.

We got Tyson from my husband's former roomate, who's female pit bull had puppies. His daddy is a rottweiler. He's seven.

I got Princess when I was in college and lonley, living by myself. She was a perfect apartment and travel dog. A chihuahua, she's full of personality, and has been with me through all of my many moves, and big life events. She is seven this month.

Eve was rescued from a horrible man who fought pit bulls. Her mom had died, and a stray was feeding the puppies. Eve was the runt, and was near death. My husband grabbed her under the fence and took off. Eve will be five, next month.

Rosco was rescued from a man who didn't fight pit bulls, but sold his puppies to fighters. I had to save atleast one. So, we picked Rosco, who was the only male left. He was and still is very timid, has an extra toe, and is a goof ball. He's the baby. Rosco is one this month.

These dogs are my angels, all sent to me for one reason or another.

Wow! This is fun! Thanks for asking a "feel good" question!
I have one Aussie/Huskie? mix, who I rescued from a pet store that was getting closed down for cruelty. She was 7 wks old when I got her and she is my soul mate. She is now 10. Her name is Sophie.
I have a Sheltie named Violet who has had arthritis since she was 2 from poor breeding. She is now 10 as well and grew up with Sophie.
I have a minpin named Shelby, who was rescued from a pound. She has little scars all over her body and we think she was used as Pit Bull bait.
I have another minpin named Cocoa (bean) who was dumped at animal control at 3 months old with her sister. Both had mange so bad they were completely bald. She is my little beauty queen now.
I have a Blue Heeler named Pepper who I rescued from a kill shelter. She is a purebred with absolutely perfect markings and we think she was beaten by kids. She was so skinny when we got her we could count all of her ribs without touching them. She lived as a feral dog for quite some time.
We have a foster pin named Felix, who was let go in a cemetery with his brother. We discovered that he had a one pound tumor on his liver that would have killed him in 4-8 weeks if we hadn't had it removed. He is my little Romeo. (And healthy!)
We have another minpin, Felix' brother, Oscar. Oscar is a friendly pin who can't get enough attention!
All these answers make us wonder what people are thinking these days, doesn't it? Kudos to all of us out there who have rescued and loved!

Actually, i have 5.
:)
I have,
- A Fawn Great Dane, named Desoto. Hes the best pet you could ever ever have, i rescued him as a puppy, me and my boyfriend were going boating, and found him abandoned in a boat, and he was emaciated. It was terrible because he was the sweetest boy ever, we assumed he may have been someones pet, because his ears were clipped, and someone just couldn't handle him.
-An Akita, i rescued from an animal shelter, she is just amazing, her name is Takara, and when they brought her in she had a really bad case of mange, and was said that her owners had left the state.
-An Catahoula Leopard dog/Blue heeler mix. Hes just gorgous! I got him from this lady, she lived in a trailer home, and her two dogs had just mated, and she couldn't have all these dogs around, because for a trailer, catahoula's alone are pretty large, i should have taken them all, but at that time i really wasn't ready for another dog. but i couldn't resist taking one. :) His name is now Draco.
- I also have Rukus, who im assuming is an airedale terrier mix, but im not entirely sure, he was brought into my local humane society, and he was dehydrated and had a horrible broken leg, that was later amputated. And he is now the sweetest boy imaginable.
- And lastly, Delilah, who is a Ibizan Hound, a VERY rare breed, and she had a chain, like choker chain, embedded in her neck.

All my dogs amazingly get along, and me and my boyfriend just adore our large family, seeing as though we both aren't fond of children. So they are our substitute, and they definantly keep us busy!

I have 3 toy poodles, and I got them all from the same breeder. Jonathan and Oliver are 4 and Magic is 2.
God bless you for rescuing those poor animals.
I'm a volunteer with a poodle rescue organization. the animals are up for adoption, but they are lodged in private homes until that happens.
