Yes, it will.

Home theater enthusiasts have been using low-cost Pro audio amps to power subwoofers for a long time.

There is no reason the amp should not work IF it is rated for 2 ohms. You may need a crossover which you can but new Behringer at Parts Express for about $100. If you have a subwoofer output on your receiver, it is important to determine if it is for LFE (low frequency effects) which is a home theater surround sound thing or if it is a sub for use with stereo speakers. Some receivers allow setting the sub out for either type of operation. An LFE for theater and a SUB OUT for stereo are not at all the same thing. For amps the Berhingers have been okay and not expensive. I honestly wonder about 4000 watt DJ amp. That seems like a very generous rating. There is no driver that will handle even close to that power and likewise few amps that will produce that. Ratings seem often to not follow the standards set forth by the AES (audio engineering society) for amp power output or speaker power handling. These figures are often subject to marketing department "fluff" to make the numbers more impressive. Check for RMS power out on the amp and RMS power handling on the sub.
