Orthodontists definitely make more, especially if they get a good reputation and are completely booked with clients. My orthodontist drove a sweet Mercedes convertible, and every year he took his whole staff to Hawaii.

Orthodontists charge probably an average of $4000 per client, who they will see every few weeks for a few years. Dentists see clients twice a year for $100 cleanings, making more from fillings and other minor procedures.

If it's a maxillofacial surgeon (dentist) then probably him lol. They make lots o' money, but it involves a lot and you probably need malpractice insurance.
