Definately. We do this all the time. Let it sit over night though. Best thing to do is mix some meat tenderizer, salt, pepper and a couple other spices (to your taste) in with it. Put the steaks in a tupperwear container or plastic bag w/the Italian dressing mixture...

Yes. I suggest perforating the steak with a fork (extremely well), then coating with the italian dressing. Let it marinate for 30 minutes to an hour. Best results: overnight.

Yes and it's great.Almost any oil based dressing will work for a marinade.I use Paul Newman's.Depending on your taste,there are many other possibilities.Explore,be daring,be creative,think outside the box.Oh yes,and I'll come for dinner!

Yes you can in fact its great. I also marinate my chicken with italian dressing with barq sauce its good.

you could. i would add more to it than just that since i don't like my steak tasting like the tang of vinegar... maybe add some bbq or a1 to it and some garlic...
i think of chicken or fish when marinating in just dressing like that

yes you can and also add more garlic 1 toe of garlic and pepper few red pepper flakes not much 1/4 teaspoon if you do not have the red pepper flakes then the hot sauce couple shakes
