How do i add transparent text across an imageso no one steals it and claims it as theirs?

have images on my myspace layout site and people steal my images i have an claim it as theirs. How do i add a transparent text across and image so people dont claim it as there and able to take it off. Thanks

The best legal proof that their photos are bogus is for you to only post cropped images. in a legal proceeding only you can produce the uncropped image, they will be out of luck. this is how fine art is protected as well. simple and effective.

In photoshop. It's called a watermark. You can also apply for watermarks at various websites around the internet. Most of the good ones will give you a limited free usage but will require membership for anything over a certain number per year.

Easy if you had photoshop. make a layer with text like you want and then put it over your picture and bring down the opacity so it's slightly translucent
