Al Gore grew up as a spoiled rich kid who has never had any real exposure to what it means to go to work to make a living and raise a family with money that you have earned on your own rather than money that you have inherited..
Al Gore inherited millions of dollars from his father who received those millions of dollars providing favorable legislation and access and influence for big oil companies.
Al Gore is now telling us that we must reduce our carbon dioxide emissions by 90%, that is less than one tenth of what they are today.
In order to accomplish that we would have to shut down our modern economies and return to a stone age hunter gatherer way of life.
We would have to shut down all motorized transportation. There would have to be a ban on all automobiles, motorscooters, motorcycles, buses, trucks trains, planes, and shipping world wide.
Next we would have to shut down all manufacturing, steelmaking and cement making world wide.
Next we would have to ban the heating and air conditioning of all homes, offices and factories worldwide.
Next we would have to ban the heating of all water for washing and bathing.
We would have to learn to bathe in cold water.
This is completely unrealistic.
Al Gore's proposal that we cut our carbon dioxide emissions by 90% is impossible and is absolutely ridiculous, unles we are willing to return ot a primitive stone age existence.
Al Gore does not know what he is talking about, yet he passes himself off to the media as some sort of expert.
Al Gore is clueless. If he did not try to pass himself off as an expert on a topic that he knows nothing about there are very few people that would even pay any attention to him
When Al Gore tries to pass himself of as an expert on a topic where he has no expertise, he will receive a substantial amount of criticism, and rightly so, not because people hate him, but because he is claiming expertise that he does not have.

He didn't do anything to me personally.
But he is a hypocrite.
I cannot see how a politician can preach environmental issues when they are the biggest abusers of the very things which they speak against, like the cars, planes, huge houses. The best part is that we as the citizens which are polluting the world, are paying his bills for all of this.
Also, anyone who runs around cowering in the background when the going gets rough, then jumps out into the spotlight when he can make himself look good is just a plain coward. He may have conceded defeat in the election of 2000, A MAN would have stuck it out to the end.
My favorite... he "invented the internet". Horsesh1t!
There was, will and has always been an internet out there, long before "Dodo-bird Gore" ever knew there was one. Such a grandiose claim is just a blatant display of an ignorant man trying to capitolize on the ignorance of others. The www was well in place and growing on it's own long before he could spell www.
And for Mrs. Gore, I hear/read that she may actually be a nice, real, genuine lady. Why she is with Bozo is another question. The explicit lyrics thing... hey, whatever. But it is still a form of censorship, which I don't really agree with. You can always get on "her husband's" internet and download anything you want, including the explicit lyrics, so either way it didn't really matter, did it?
And the whole global warming thing, well I am not a scientist. At this point there seems to be many scientist disagreeing about the whole global warming issue.
Obviously it is/has been happening for thousands of years, but seriously, do you really think that we can stop it? We may slow down the inevitable, but nature is taking it's course, as it always has in history. We are only here for the ride. If we survive, then great. If not, where are we going to run to, Mars? Maybe we can live there long enough to screw that planet up too.
Humans just need to accept that we obviously aren't going to exist forever. We will either kill ourselves off first, or mother nature will get rid of us before we destroy her.
Think about it...
What happens after a forest fire?
What happens after any major NATURAL (not human influenced) disaster?
Even a nuclear blast...Mother nature will prevail. It takes a long time but she will always win. Just because humans aren't there to see it, or maybe we think that it took to long, Mother Nature will fix hersilf, with or without our help.

He's telling the truth and the ignorant can't handle the truth. Changing our ways of living doesn't mean we will screw up our economy. People have to think. Al Gore is RIGHT And it was George W. that stole the election in 2000 with help from his brother. If Al Gore was President (/11 would not of happened and this war i Iraq and Afghanistan would of never occurred.

Mostly the Gore haters are just political conservatives taking their ideology to ridiculous extremes. If liberals, environmentalists, or, worst yet, Al Gore, say something it simply has to be wrong. No matter how many scientists also say it.
They might want to pay attention to this guy:
"Former Republican House Speaker Newt Gingrich challenged fellow conservatives to stop resisting scientific evidence of global warming"

He wants to live a fancy life driving his fancy cars blaring his obscenity lyrical music. Fly his private jet wherever he pleases. I mean stop being nice for the guy he wants us to live like the Flinstones in the stone ages with no cars and electricity. While his electric bill is around 30,000 a month with his house, pool, poolhouse, poolhouse's pool house. Of course some of his work is better than everyone else towards global warming but still. If he ran for president the only reason i would vote for him because our country would be worse than it ever would have been with Hilary. And John Edwards is a Puss.

Al Gore is disliked by many because he uses fear tactics, anger, and misinformation to brainwash people.
He's a hypocrite, flying his private jets and driving his caravans of cars and SUV's. If he truly believed his own religion, he would practice it.
If the media was fair, they would crucify him for this hypocrisy just like they crucify Christians when they break one of their own "rules".
Don't get me going on Al Gore's carbon credit purchases from his own bogus company!
Al Gore is evil....

Im sure he doesnt fly commercial I would bet his mansion uses 5x the electricity my (fairly big) home does. And Im sure he irrigates his well manicured lawn at his mansion. Not to mention all of his hollywood buddies who are all gulity of the same. I cant listen to him.

I don't think there is anything wrong with Al Gore personally. I think for the most part people don't like him because they don't want to hear the truth about what is happening to our planet.
