You will definitely run faster with your hands out of your pockets. You will run slower with your arms tucked by your sides and not moving.

the proven form to run faster is to put your arms in a 90 degree angle at your sides. you can pump them, not too much, or you'll get tired. your arms should not cross your chest, they need to be parallel. it really depends on the person, the fastest runners have the weirdest forms.

Watch no one but really good runners, and emulate them. NOT CARTOONS.

Bend you arms, and keep your hands near your upper ribs. Swing the elbows forward and back a little in alternate rhythm, not side to side of the hands or elbows.

The fastest is running with your arms pumping. If you watch all the olympic runners do that and there's a reason for it

i never really tried that but running with your arms at the sides and going back and forth forces your legs to keep in rythym with them. but what color does a smurf turn when your choke them?
