Your fact is probably correct however, you should consider the fact that the United States government uses borrowed money for just about everything... In addition, the federal reserve note is really not worth anything above imagination.
Much like money markets such as DOW, NYSE and others, perception is what makes the world go around. Our National debt is over 9 trillion!!! That's money we owe, and have only been paying back the interest on that debt to other countries for over 50 years... By the way; China is on that list.

Well, the fact is that everything the government does is done on money that's either borrowed or involuntarily confiscated.
The only difference between the two is that when they borrow, they are promising to pay back what they borrow with money they plan to confiscate at some future date.

I am not OK with the amount of money being borrowed by the government at the moment, but there are plenty of other things in the budget I'd like to see cut to balance it, not just the war.

Fine by me. Those soldiers have to get paid somehow and they have to have good working equipment so I could care less where the money comes from as long as it keeps coming.
