What?? There is no time frame. Some couples stay together for years and never live together. It depends on the relationship. If you feel that the relationship is going nowhere, then you need to reconsider the relationship. Don't base it on whether or not you're living with your S.O.

If by significant other you mean a literal spouse: husband/wife, then yes, you should be living together. But if you're boyfriend and girlfriend, then don't be living together. You're not married! But if after two years of being "together" you still aren't married, then it's time to move on.

Why live together? Why not get married first? It all depends where the relationship is at and if it is a good relationship. If it is a good relationship then I would say you would both have to at least know if it is gonna go anywhere in the future. If there never has been any talk about a future together, then I would say it is time to move on.

Wow there Jessica. I think your jumping the gun on this one. Two years to you seems like a long time but living together is a huge step. Give him aome more time, and talk to him about this if you already haven't. If he is a good guy that treats you well, it is worth giving him more time.

This wouldn't bother me - its actually kind of nice to be able to have your own space to go to when you need some alone time. If you have a great relationship and its stable and awesome - who cares where you live right?

No. I would not move in with anyone until we were engaged. Even if I was engaged I still don't think I would live with her until marriage.
