Legitimate secret shopper companies use only skilled, trained people to do the work. A marketing degree is a usual requirement, as is the ability to write clear, concise reports on the results of the mystery shops. Legitimate companies never require their employees to pay a fee to get a job. They may occasionally ask the employee to use their own money in shopping, but this is reiumbursed.

mystery shoppers are legit but I don't know about the web sites for them.

If they are going to pay you, you shouldn't have to pay to get "trained". Being asked to pay someone to pay you is a sign that you may b dealing with a ripoff.
