In my last question I asked if it were possible to convince our children that ridiculous things were true, and we all agreed that it was. So I think that might be fun to try. What should we teach them?

There's a great book called 'Lies to Tell Children'. I recommend we teach our children every one of them.

Examples:

Reggae was invented in 1884 in Scotland by Donald 'The Skankin' Laird' MacIntyre

If you push spaghetti through the holes in the phone, they come out at the other end

If you type 'google' into Google the resulting logic loop will cause the Universe to collapse into an infinitely small dot

I once told my younger brother that ski runs were given colours based on the number of people fatally injured on them each month. He believed me.

Right now, I working on teaching an almost seven year old responsibility and teaching an 18 month old basic home training.

Sorry, I have no time to "teach" my kids delusions and fairy tales. I'm trying to raise functioning members of society.

Well, we could always tell them that a jolly old guy in a red suit lands his reindeer driven sleigh on the roof and comes down the chimney to leave gifts for every child on the planet. We could also tell them that a magic fairy comes into their room and leaves money under their pillow in exchange for a lost tooth.

I'm sorry eleventy... usually I like your contributions but I cannot say i think this is good or would be fun. You might as well start taking them to church if you are going through with this. To me it seems somewhat cruel...

Opposites.

Off is on, up is down.

They'll grow up completely normal, only no one would ever ask them for directions... At least I'd hope not.
