Ask for a new psychiatrist.

know in your own mind that the majority of psychiatrists only became psychiatrists because they were really screwed up and thought they could help themselves. Then you can imagine him singing that song while on all fours being whipped by mistress while he is wearing a diaper.

And remember it could be worse you could have gotten some self-righteous hack like Dr. Phil.

Does he sing often? Is He any good? Its a good thought; "things can only get better". Life is not a flat, simple road. You got mountains, valleys, nothing for miles, hot, cold, windy, calm, curves, forks in the road (which way do I go?) But, the road is always there, heading to the next bump or curve. Who knows what you find around that curve. For me it's three steps forward, one step back. When I'm sittin' flat on my *** at the bottom of one of those holes really feelin sorry for my self, I realize that I'm still two steps ahead.

Sounds like you have some very serious issues with trust. First of all you must trust yourself to be who you are and not want to change that for anyone. Then and only then can you put some trust in people you meet. As this all starts to fall in place you may learn to trust other more along with yourself. Having faith sometimes helps to. Faith that others will do what is right. And she right, "things can only get better" if and only if you put forth the effort and energy to want them to get better and put it to work for you. God Bless and Good Luck.

sorry if you have to go if you didn't I wouldn't go back to him and perhaps now you see how the abuse comes in, when you start kicking him in his head and you start singing back to him he will be angry at you and write it down and make you look bad and maybe even have you locked up, just ignore this until you can get away from it and then do your best to stay away from it, once you are away from it is when you could join people like me that are trying to kick them in their heads in some non violent way? you can't ever really kick or put your hands on them or you will be the one that it hurts the most you do know that don't you? I am sure you do

While I'm sure the therapist is only trying to make things better, if it bothers you, perhaps you should ask them not to sing it, or find a new therapist...

Which is true, he makes money and you get better. That's how it is suppose to work. Two things have to happen, one you have to want to get better (with your heart, not your brain) and the other is it does not happen over night.

Sing along with them.

You haven't given us enough information. Sometimes our problems seem huge to us. To another person they seem much less important.

Everyone has problems. We get over them when we see that these are the things we need to solve to get to where we are expecting to go. Turn problems into challenges. Challenges move us to solutions.
