When i was a sophmore, everyday, the same kid came to me in the locker room after football practice and tried to tempt me to join what will from here forward be referred to as "the dark side" (aka christianity). They always had all these little cookouts and "fun" activities to try to pull you into the herd. I always declined. One day he brought me a little bible and I ripped a handful of pages out and rubbed them on various particularly sweaty parts of my body. The next day he brought me another one and from that point forward I just pretended not to hear him and made sure his little bibles didn't end up in my locker or bag when i left.

That is quite clear to us. We have a mandate however, to preach the Gospel. Most Christians don't even do that. There are also some that go overboard in preaching and turn people off. Some just go about planting little seeds of truth. Don't be offended by it. We cannot and will not stop. Just let it roll off you and we won't convert you. See God does all the work in conversion. We will be hated and called some pretty bad stuff but we know that too. Jesus said it would happen. Hope this helps.

You are actually very true. But there are people out there that do need help and want to find god. i know it becomes a head ache that people might be a big bug by coming to your house constantly or try and convert you. Just know that Christians try and find people that are ready to listen and accept god. Its still all based on choice on what you want to do.

You are right, not everyone wants conversion or will be converted. God has chosen out His Church for salvation. It is all a work of God, not man. I cannot convert you or anyone else. Unless God gives you the faith to believe, the eyes to see, the ears to hear, and replaces your stony heart with one of flesh, you simply do not have the capacity to believe. Without the indwelling of the Spirit, you will remain dead in trespasses and sins. It is our job to share the Gospel of grace with all whom God brings to us, if they listen, it is a good indicator they are of the elect, if not, they may not be. If you refuse to listen or hear the message, I shake to dust of my feet and leave you, you are God's problem, not mine.

I understand that perfectly well, but that doesn't mean that I'm going to stop. Maybe some of the kids in school don't want to hear about evolution all the time, but are they given a choice? I'm going to witness whether you want me to or not, God told me to, and that's good enough for me.

Thats becasue you dont know yet. God tells us the whole world nees to know and to tell them. Some will be converted and some wont its all choice, but they wont know if we dont tell them. Many rejected Jesus that knew Him face to face. ITs not our job to convict, but to live truth and speak it and one day you cant look at us and say WHY DIDNT YOU TRY TO TELL ME? WE have.
If you dont want to hear about God, where are you on this site? And if you think its all gush, just ignore us all and you can even giggle behind our backs. WHy they anger? WE are only telling you because we love you and God loves you and are trying to warn you. IF you had that truth, wouldnt you want to warn ppl? God tells us to do it and we have no choice there man. when we love God, we obey, and we want you to be saved too. But its up to you to hear and obey. God tells us HE gave us all a certain measure of faith and its up to us to run with it and KNOW or to run from it and reject Him.
All choice, but please if you dont want to hear this, why are you on this site? Maybe if you stay on long enough, something will click and you too will believe. So youa re welcome to keep coming back. We dont give up easy, nor does God.

All we can do is try. If they reject, we are not being rejected, it is Jesus they are rejecting. Non- believers will have to answer to the Lord for that.
