I believe Speaking in Tongues is the heavenly language. What do u think..?

When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them. (Acts 2:1-4).

I once saw a movie called "Powder" it was amazing how that person was..& how he thought & felt about others...(and somehow I think that we will be much like that person, powder..only in a place that accepts, rather than rejects one another.) I think that in Heaven we will be so much more than we can humanly imagine! As currently we dwell in nothing but "tents" and yet in Heaven we will live in a "Mansion" by comparison. So I would be hard pressed to give an honest answer as I only know that Heaven is more than I can even imagine..(and being an artist..I can imagine A LOT) lol

God and the angels don't have physical ears so they may not speak any language but rather communicate through thought or esp.
The apostles were given the benefit of new languages to further the preaching work.
D. A. Hayes in his book The Gift of Tongues described an incident similar to those reported by others. “At Los Angeles not long ago,” he wrote, “a woman had the gift of tongues, and a reputable Chinaman who heard her said that she was speaking his dialect of Chinese. When he was asked to interpret what she said, he refused to do it, saying that the language was the vilest of the vile.”

Here's an interesting thought, in the Left Behind Series, the 2 heavenly guys with all the power at The WailingWall,when they speak, everyone HEARSand understands in their own language :)

Speaking in "other tongues" could just mean they were speaking a language foreign to their own. But in Heaven I think they speak a different language all together...one that doesn't exist here on earth.

Also, when you get Close Enough so that the Souls of the people Over-Lap, you don't have to Talk at all!
We have this happen to us down here (accidently I think) but it is common up on Planet Heaven.
It happened to my Dad and me one Day. He read my mind (thoughts transferred) and replied to me verbally!
We just looked at each other, cause we both Realized Instantly that I had not said anything (I just thought it!).
Ditto.............it would be a mess down here if that started happening on regular basis because of the devils

That would of course be the Baptist Heaven with everybody babbling in gibberish and Jesus knocking them over like a larger than life Benny Hinn

That particular gift of tongues was in the language of the different people; magnifying God

They probably speak in toungues, either that or mabey Yiddish, or Hebrew. Or in that language that the transformers spoke in the new movie.

No idea. Sometimes people speak in earthly languages though when speaking in tongues... so... yeah, who knows.
