Is taking one "E" a sin if you haven't used it for about 2 or 3 years. Just for one good night out? Wil I get punished for it?

It is not a sin.

How often you use it is up to you.

But that does not mean you should ignore informed opinion that the drug is potentially dangerous.

I speak not as a user but as a parent who spent rather an anxious time in a hospital while doctors tried to prevent his son from dying from some of the after effects.

Fortunately they succeeded.

If you do/have taken Ecstasy and survived without ill-effects I am pleased for you. But do not assume, as my son did, that these because these ill-effects have not appeared, it means that next time, you will be immune.

In the words of the song, 'It aint necessarily so'

But if you do take it, and it goes wrong, you haven't sinned, you have just been stupid, and any after effects are not punishment, they are simply what happens.

Lol. Funny. Why would the length of time between you last taking it and now make a difference? Would it be more of a sin if you took it on a regular basis? Who is going to punish you anyway? You could die from taking it though, although that's unlikely

I must be out of the loop, I have no clue what taking one E is, so I have no idea if its sin or not. Maybe the others have heard of this and can answer, but either way, I would love to know what taking a E is. I take vitamin E every day and its not a sin. and i wont be punnished for it, its healthy

Don't be rediculous. Whose going to punish you except yourself for doing it.? You only live once as they say. Why waste a life if the last statement is true? And what happens if it is true? All those people denying themselves the person they are and the person they want to be for fear of retribution.
I find this a very very sad state of mind. Live life to the full and fear not. You would never have been given the ability to live life as you like if you were not meant to. Sod everyone elses beliefs and don't take them as your own.

I don't think one "E" is going to get you banished to hell for eternity.
First - God gave humans free will, we have the ability to choose our own paths and what is right and wrong, we get to make our own choices.
Second - God forgives the sinner. Yes, S/He punishes the sin, but the sinner is forgiven.
So, no. I do not think one "E" is going to get you punished. But I wouldn't push it by taking more!

Yes it is a sin: it harms you (which God would never want to happen) and it s against the law (Jesus told us to obey the laws of the country we live in, unless it conflicts with what He has told us to do.)
God bless

If it's something that can potentially hurt you, chances are it might be a sin (excluding things like bungee jumping or something). Rules are put in place to help.

Before you do go and ask your family what they think about it, that way if you die as a result you will save us all the bother of reading the front page of the papers claiming it was your first experience of drugs. (Despite evidence suggesting this is not the case.)
