Dragon, I think maybe being out in the elements as much as you seem to be could do it?

Oceananenomie, I 've not had accupunture, but do a form of yoga based on accupressure that really helps loosen me up.

nurses4ever, At least my hands aren't affected by stiffness and pain.

I have fibromyalgia - I have been able to predict changes in the weather better than a meteorologist with a PhD since the mid eighties and I'm only 55 now...Even with the acupuncture that has removed almost all of the pain, I get brief flares before a change in the weather....if my bones could only predict the winning lotto numbers as accurately!

Unfortunately for me, they started doing THAT when I was only 40.

I have arthritis in my ankes and wrists that will ache right before a storm.

But, I also have deteriorating discs in my back that will start to ache EVERY TIME the barometric pressure changes quickly--it doesn't matter if it's going up or down, just that it changes a LOT, quickly.

Then there is my knee...I overdid the crouching I was doing when I put together a bunk bed for my grandsons 8 years ago. So much so that I ended up with torn ligaments in my left knee. They never really healed properly, and hurt most days. The ONLY time it DOESN'T ache is if I am sitting in a hot bath with it completely underwater, or I have a heating pad wrapped around it. I don't think it's tied into any weather changes, at least I haven't noticed any connections.

But yes, my aches are getting worse as I get older. There is not a day that goes by that I am not in some sort of pain. Since I refuse to become addicted to pain killers, I only use them when I am desperate to get something done that I need more physical strength for. Consequently most days I spend feeling every SECOND of my age!

I guess us Dragons have nearly the same problems-back, knees, etc.
I force the issue and keep on going though.
As for the weather part-yup! and usually right on target.
