All fish are healthy to eat (unless they're battered and fried!). I could start a huge rant on how great fish is for the body but I won't to save you a headache. In short though, any fish will be healthy for you because they contain HBV protein, numerous vitamins and minerals, and oily fish like salmon contain omega 3 fatty acids which are cardio-protective

The best fish to eat is Salmon.
And white tuna.

I heard that any kind of white fish is good for you.
You dont want fish that is fried or battered.

Wild salmon is excellent, high in omega-3 acid and low in mercury from contaminated waters but it's very expensive. Most of the fresh salmon you find in the supermarket is farmed and not as healthy, but still not bad for you. However, canned salmon is mostly wild and has all the omega-3 that fresh wild salmon has. Mahi mahi, flounder, sole, whitefish and tilapia are all caught wild and have low mercury counts. Catfish is also caught wild and has a low mercury content, but it's a bottom feeder, so that may be why the news paper article said they're unhealthy.

But sea foods like the prawns, squids carry lot of calories.

Catfish probably contains a lot of mercury. So does tuna. I've heard that tilapia don't have many toxins in them.
