my friend is being deceived by the church of satan and i feel so sorry for her i need to show her that the catholic church leads people to hell and it is the whore of babylon predicted in scripture

The devil is keeping you away from the one and true church , the Roman Catholic Church, the only Church that offers salvation. The Roman Catholic Church is the only divinely instituted Church. Our Lord placed His Church upon the Rock of Peter (the Papacy) so that people would distinguish between His Church and other false man-made religions.
Do you know who formulated the first Bible, where you now look for verses about the whore of babylon? It was the Roman Catholic monks who painstakingly came up with the first written Bible. So be thankful to the Roman Catholic church that you now have a Bible in your hands.
Who was the first Pope? It was St.Peter. His direct successor is Pope Benedict XVl. A direct continuity of 2000 years. Just as Our Lord promised. The gates of hell will not prevail against His Church . When you call the Roman Catholic Church names you offend the very Body of Christ.
Educate yourself about the Roman Catholic Church rather than just going by what people and pastors say. You will be surprised by what you learn.

There's not any. The whore of Babylon is Rome when the Empire was persecuting the early church. But there are many scriptures that go against Catholic doctrine. As I understand it, a Catholic needs a priest to forgive sin on God's behalf. I've found no biblical evidence of this. As a matter of fact, praying to God ourselves (not through Mary) and asking for forgiveness is sufficient...provided we have been immersed in the blood of Christ. I wouldn't say the Catholic church is the church of Satan and I'm not authorized to say Catholics are going to hell. But I can read the Bible and see differences in Catholic doctrine and scripture. Since your friend is Catholic, I'd stray away from the 'you're going to hell' mentality and just have a serious Bible study where you both want to find the truth. Remember, you don't have all the answers (neither do I or anyone else) and we all want to know the truth.

Whoa, back up there buddy. The church is the whore of Babylon? I'm pretty sure the Bible says that nowhere.
Did you know that we branched off of the Catholic church? That the Catholic church is our roots, our history? And that we believe in the same God?
You obviously have no scriptural proof for yourself to back up your claims, so why do you think someone else will?

There are of course no such verses, or the Catholic Church would not have included such verses when it compiled the Bible. But I'm sure someone can give you some silly interpretations of verses that would sound like what you want to hear. Misinterpretation of God's Word can be used to "prove" anything.
