The same benefit as the devil and the fallen angels have. Eternity without God.

Something to ponder:
2 men were walking together. One believed in God, the other did not. The unbeliever asked the believer why he bothered with going to church, giving up his Sunday, following a good life style. After all, he made his life worth living. Enjoyed everything to the fullest, and didn't believe there'd be any consequences to any of his actions. He could do what he wanted, when he wanted. Why should someone waste all that? The believer replied as such: Say for one minute that I am wrong and there is no God. I have lived a good life, had a great family, and always had my faith to carry me through hard times. My life in that way has been good. I have no regrets. In essence, my friend, I have lost nothing. Now, let's say that I am right. That there is a God. That heaven is waiting for us who believed. Then, you my friend, have lost everything. For you have lost the promise of eternal life in heaven.

when you rid yourself of the burden of religion, your mind is able to absorb so much more knowledge. You are free from biases that separate you from other people of other religions, cultures, and backgrounds. You open yourself up to the whole world. Your higher power becomes your own brain and the brains of people who are more educated than you are.

You can think for yourself and not have people telling you what is real. People believe in supernatural beings because someone told them about them. And all down through the generations, that was what was told over and over. That is called brainwashing and sadly it is very hard to recover from. Especially if the religion you practice is based on the fear of a supernatural being, the promise of a paradise upon death, and a feeling of community that most people crave.

It depends on how you define God, but if you define God as a ruthless old curmudgeon who won't let you have fun, you would feel freer. On the other hand, if you define God as self-perpetuating goodness, then without God, there would be very little benefit to not believing in God.

granted by whom? There are none.

Read and study the Bible, all of the Biblical prophecy that has been fulfilled to date has been 100% accurate. Why would you want to not believe in God with that track record?

Do you mean Salvation or believing? My Belief tells me without Salvation, you will get Hell. As far as believing goes, believing is not enough. Even the Devil believes in God and Jesus. Thanks for asking and have a great day!

the only benefit I can see(In my opinon at this time) is that you would not be exposed to the dogma of that religion, and that you would not have to follow any set rules/guidelines but your own....but can I also point out that 'he who believes in nothing, falls for everything'...?
so surely you must have some belief system?

The belief that you will never be held accountable for your actions. The freedom to live a dishonest life as long as you figure it doesnt hurt anyone.

No guilt, no need to ask for forgivness unless you've actually hurt someone, no need to worry about judgment except in the legal format. And atheist chicks/dudes are hot. Whichever floats your boat.

Oh, and at the very least moral pluralism, if not relativism.
