If someone found out that God didn't exist and had cold hard proof what would you do? I'm a bit iffy about God and that but I would be absolutly devostated if someone found it out. Millions of people all over the world believe these things, and at the moment with all these desasters, I just think that after all this time, there wouldn't be any hope. There wouldn't be anything when you die, and never that securety that someone is watching over you, and will look after you when you can't talk to anyone else. Gloabl warming is one major thing as well. Within 50 years there will be no water left and everyone will be starving because of more people having kids and less land for farmers to grow food on. Everyone would need someone there then, and they're wouldn't be anyone to save us, because we've brought it upon ourselves. Kinda creepy, isn't it? Just knowing that there wouldn't be any paradise, just blackness... I really do hope God exists!

See what I mean about the whole thing about millions of people and God? For decades people have been trying to find out if he exists, and I only posted this question less than 10 minutes ago and I've already got over 15 answers! Suppose I'd better choose a best answer...

I just wish he would show himself to everyone, because no one is going to stop doing wrong and when they do, it'll be too late.

Total and absolute devastation. That is what I felt when I faced up to the truth, that there is no God. This is the worst thing that can happen to a believer or somebody who really wants to believe.
I think if it happened on a global scale, there would be mass suicide. Losing faith completely and absoulutely is horrible. Facing a life without justice, an afterlife, or a safety net is brutal if you're not used to it.
This doesn't mean people would not have morals. They would have the same ones they already have. Nothing changes when you lose faith, in terms of morality.

While I'm a believer, I don't think this type of discovery would change my spirituality. I wouldn't lose hope or go off the deep end. My core values (I hope) would hold.
As I grow older, God Almighty becomes more abstract. The One is no longer a celestial score keeper or a Superman who will push me out of the way of an ongoing train. God to me now is a logos...a mind... to which we are all drawn and which enables us to exist as humans and not as savages.
Whether we live only this lifetime, a hundred lifetimes or rest in Paradise, we still need to live with one another in the now, understand our strengths and weaknesses, and love those around us.
Theology and philosophy in their purest non sectarian sense investigates these great issues of life and offers us guidance and character formation.
I'd imagine that those with more fundamentalist beliefs would be devastated but I just journey through my life in wonder and joyful hope.

Noone can ever say and proove that, becasue God is very real. Until you know HIm, you wont know that, but yes He is very real. My question is,,, for the nonbelievers, what will you do when you one day know God is real and that you are going to be lost because you would never give Jesus a chance?
God will end this world of sin and every horrible problem that comes from that, Jesus is coming soon. But only those that are fully His, in love and obedience will be saved.
Are you all willing to take a chance.. What if we are right? I personally have seen miracles and I know God is real, and God has even spoke directly to me about things I needed to do in life to get further ahead in my thinking.
Youa re right, unless God came to end this mess, we would self destruct from the inside out, from all our own greed and rebellion. Thank God there is a Jesus that will come to take His ppl home. There will be more disasters till Jesus comes and all kinds of stuff. God tells us these are warning and we better take heed, but many wont and then will say OH God why didnt you tell me?? HE did, and there is a whole book called the Bible that tells the full story. IF you wont read it and obey it, then you cant blame God, only yourself.
We who are Gods will miss the great tribulation, God tells us that, He will rapture us home. B e read cuz that is coming soon. God does exist and I have seen so much proof or that, as many have.
How can it be easy to believe we came from some big bang. Wehre did the gasses come from that causes the explosion/? And we all jsut turned into these human beings with intricate nervous systems, vascular systems and all of that. I f I gave you a new car, and said noone made that, but there was some explosion last ngith that made it happen, you would laugh. YEt ppl say they do believe that, and yet wont beleive God cause they cant see Him, or dont know where He came from. God always just was, and you dont need to get that. sure makes more sense that we were made by intelligent design, that an accident from an explosion billions of years ago, huh?
Dont risk hell, get a Bible for yourelf. Study, pray and ask God to show you He is real and He will. Once I did that, I tell you what, my life has never been the same.
Seek and ye shall find and all will be added unto you. YOu can have confidence my friend that Jesus is real, that He forgives, and will give you a whole new heart to love and forgive others and tell the world about Him, as you live and speak truth yourself. Doesnt always make us popular in the world , but doesnt matter. God loves us and appreciate us adn we are popular with Him. Those other ppl dont heal ,save or deliver, Jesus does, and its only Him I need to impress.
He loves us as we are, but wants us to change and let Him show us how to be as it creates so many blessing. YOu wont understand it all overnight. we are all studying and learning all the time, even the preachers. But God will point you on a path of understanding, love joy an dpeace, and you can know you are saved, if you are obedient To GOd in all things You are welcome to write me if you like. Findyou a good full gospel church, talk to the pastor and he will get you in a group to study and learn. They arent perfect ,no one is, but they are on the right path, trying and knowing they are saved. Nothing like it. YUM Passion for Jesus?? YEP>

This is what Allah is saying in his Quran 89th Surah"Al-Fajr" last verses.
27.
(To the righteous soul Will be said) "O (you) soul, In (complete) rest And satisfaction!
28.
Come back you To your Lord-- Well pleased (yourself), And well-pleasing Unto Him!
29.
"Enter, then, Among My Devotees!
30.
Yes, Enter My Heaven!"
and in 36th surah "Yasin"
55. Surely the Companions of the Garden shall, That day have joy In all that they do;
56.
They and their spouses Will be in groves Of (cool) shade, reclining On raised couches;
57.
(Every) fruit (enjoyment) Will be there for them;
They shall have whatever They call for;
58.
"Peace!"--a Word (Of salutation) from a Lord
Most Merciful!
And in the same surah about Hell.
63.
"This is the Hell Of which you were (Repeatedly) warned!
64.
"Embrace you the (Fire) This Day, for that you (Persistently) rejected(Truth)."
Now consider that you never new these thing and you died somehow. The question will be"You had your intelligence, why did you never try to know"
Allah exist every where, even inside us is his light. Look deep inside you and you will see. No matter what religion we are or culture,we all came from one Creator and we shall go back to Him after we die.

Well global warming and the hole in the ozone layer have been around since the beginning so don't get to worked up over it. As far as God's existence goes, He does exist, as do all the other God's. I have borne witness to this. I do not ask that you believe me. I know what I have seen with my eyes, and that's enough for me.

As if the utter lack of any evidence supporting the existence of God wouldn't be enough to inspire the same sort of reflection.

"Faith is the substances of things 'hoped' for and evidence of things not seen." Hebrews 11:1 NKJV
If you don't have hope then you don't have faith...and if you're going to life as if there is no God, you had better hope you are right.
good luck on finding your answer...

They probably would deny it.
I dont think I would believe someone who said that the Goddess and God weren't real.
But I also cant think of what "cold hard evidence" would be.
