Anybody know how many teaspoons of yeast are in one of the little packets? I buy in bulk because I bake my own bread but have been trying some new recipes that call for the packets instead of a specific measurement. Thanks!

Never had a teaspoon fall out of a packet of yeast when it was opened!

I called the Fleischmann's people about a year ago with the same question, because I buy my yeast in jars. According to them, 2 1/4 teaspoons jarred (or bulk) yeast equals 1 package active dry yeast. Seems to work for me so far!
