if you can't right click, then its either you're mouse thats broken or the computer being stupid. first restart your computer, and if the problem persists then check the mouse to see if anything is possibly damaged, if you shake the mouse and you hear something, then its probably the mouse haha.

There can be more than 1 reasons:
1-Mouse's hardware problem, button problem or lead problem.
2-Check the settings of Mouse, by clicking Start -> Control Panel -> Printers and other hardware -> Mouse = From here u can do the changes in the settings of Mouse.
3-Operating system not detecting your Mouse, Windows 98 suits serial Mouse but newer version of Windows like Windows xp,2000 etc supports PS2 Mouse.

You most likely have a mouse issue but just to be sure go to mouse settings in control panel and make sure you have right and left click on. now if that doesn't change anything. Carefully Take apart your mouse and clean it all, Then put it back together. If that doesn't work go and buy a laser guided mouse.

It could be a bad mouse button. Try restarting your computer first and see if that helps. If not, try unplugging the mouse and then plugging it back in. If nothing helps, get a new one.

You usually click with the left side of your mouse unless you are told differently.
