If you want the perfect, most inexpensive scrub, use regular Bicarbonate of Soda, from any shop like Tesco, I tell you, your skin will be as smooth as a baby! It removes the top layer of skin to encourage the re-growth of new skin hense improving skin lightening effects in people of colour and eventually fading away blemishes. Don't worry if you appear a little shiny after treatment, it's temporary, like shining a pair of shoes with a shoe brush will temporarily release the shine. Combine this with a good moisturiser and mattifyer, lots of water before a 30min workout at the gym a week and, I swear, you will have better skin than Beyonce or Nicole Kidman, trust me, I wish you could see my before and after pictures! Good luck!

Sea Salt Body Scrub:

1 cup fine sea salt ½ cup grape-seed, hazelnut, or almond oil 10 drops grapefruit essential oil 10 drops juniper essential oil

Combine all the ingredients in a small bowl and stir thoroughly. 2. Spread the mixture onto damp skin and massage in. Concentrate on the tough, rough, thickened areas of the body, such as the feet and elbows.

If your in the UK believe it or not Tescos own products have a good reputation or if you prefer The Body Shop. I would be carefull about what you use on your face. For the rest of the body any exfloiator should be ok as long as your not allergic to anything.

I used a nice one on my face, and because of the strawberries, it exfoliated too!

6 (or so) very ripes strawberries.
60 ml honey.

Mash the strawberries with a fork and add the honey, pour into a jug.
Put on your face/body and lie back for 10 minutes (if it stings, wash it off) and wipe off thoroughly when done. Use your fave moisturiser for softness! :D
