Pete, KFC, is a heart attack in a crispy breading, seriously, I eat it cant lie but for sure I feel like I put on 10 pounds over night, honestly, it may reduce a little fat but dont count on to much really. I am going to try to quit fast foods it is bad after a while, we are lazy us Americans at times and when we are hungry we start chowing on junk, God love those people who can eat healthy, I am jealous! LOL

Well I hear that KFC is now cooking with some kind of oil that makes it not having any trans fat. But regardless of how or what they are cooking it in, taking off the skin is always healthier.

The skin of a chicken contains a lot of fat. Doctors and dietitians recommend that the skin be removed before eating the rest of the chicken----bummer.

it's still not going to be healthy because of all the preservatives, fat, etc that is used to cook the chicken, but it will make it a little less worse for you if you take the skin off.

Yes but not much difference because its still unhealthy. You cut out about 100 calories and a 15 grams of fat, but its still not good for you at all because they deep fry those chickens. Chicken is better eaten grilled or roasted.

Sure, the skin is fatty part. It holds the oils, breading and the skin itself holds fat.
