One of the more esoteric traits of high-functioning (average or high intelligence) autism is the extremely high incidence of atheism, agnosticism, and secularism. Informal polls show that roughly two-thirds of HF autistics are non-religious. Less than ten percent of normal people are non-religious.
Given that autism is biological (the first symptoms normally present around age one), why would God create a condition that makes its sufferers physically less capable of believing in Him? How, in your opinion, will God judge these people when they die?
Thanks in advance for your answers.

My apologies. My numbers are a little off.
The CIA almanac puts the percentage of atheist or non-religious people worldwide at 14.39%.
https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/geos/xx.html
Adherents.com puts the number at 16%.

Nonetheless, the difference is significant.

Your question comes down to free will. If there is free will to decide whether to believe in God or not, then God will act accordingly, but if there isn't the point is moot- we have no choice (neither to autistics), so there is no right or wrong.
If God exists and created free will and autistic genes that affect otherwise innocent people, either it could be beneficial in a way we are not aware of, or it could be additional challenge to promote a greater reward. Either way, there are a lot of ifs, which makes for a poor answer- my apologies.

The atonement of Jesus Christ is powerful enough to make up the difference for these people. This kind of goes along the lines of infants who die wihtout baptism. Some sects believe that they cannot go to heaven. IMO, this contradicts the nature of a loving, just God. He will see that these individuals are given the mercy that they deserve. Same goes for those who never get a chance to hear about Christ and therefore never get baptized... they too need to receive mercy from their Creator if he is truly merciful.
I believe, then, that *if* these people are truly limited in their capacity to understand religion, then they will be extended mercy according to that condition... Jesus Christ makes that mercy possibly through his atoning sacrifice.

You assume that God created the condition of which you speak.
He didn't.
All the evils in the world are the result of man's free will choice to reject God, and throw in with Satan the devil, at the very dawn of humanity.
God does not hold people responsible for things they can do nothing about.

So now you're thinking why God would try this or that concern. it truly is powerful. in spite of the reality you're attempting to hyperlink a disbelief in God with what seems to be a genetic sickness. i recognize that if I published a question that linked Christian fundamentalism with severe psychological retardation you and your variety would be without delay reporting it. i won't have the ability to checklist you nevertheless for this, yet I advise which you communicate why it truly is. a huge variety of the Asperger toddlers, and Autistic toddlers are born to those who're interior the suitable 10% of the inhabitants in terms of intelligence. in actuality it truly is an particularly, very string corelation. the suitable 10% of folk on the intelligence scales are additionally the least probable to believe in religions. i believe if a newborn does not believe taught to them they have a tendency to not believe it the two, and we could face it, you at the instant are not finding many of the Asperger/Autistic toddlers sitting by using church sermons or doing nativity performs. --------- easily not very many believe in Santa between the Autistics. What they do nevertheless is say Santa is genuine very without postpone in case you component out that No Santa ability No presents. -------- I easily have seen adequate of your questions and solutions to correctly known what you think. I easily have somewhat no ought to bounce to conclusions for the reason which you have suggested your ideals usually, and frequently as insultingly as available.

Who knows the mind and choices of God? Just as he is it is hard to comprehend his motives for the events in each man or womans life. It is ones choice to believe and have faith no matter what come what may! Ones passion; do we all have like passions? They say Jesus had a choice and he had a passion. So he went through it and persevered through all things...so are we to be what and who we are,or are we to be like minded as he was with God. Trust no matter what?

I wonder the same thing about people who live in a culture where they do not know about God. I figure that he knows them better than anybody, and can look deeper and know where their place is in the afterlife, even if they don't seem to believe.

Two possible 'Christian' answers:
God works in mysterious ways.
God didn't create HF autism, Satan did.
