Sweetie don't listen to the nuse or others. You went to a doctor for a reason!

the brown color, dead dry skin is actually called Tinea Versicolor! Google it! The spelling is correct! This is a fungal infection and can be easy to cure. Most doctors use to prescribe a " Sulfer based lotion" for this reason. However, in more recent years, it is easier on the doctors to instruct people to purchase a good antifungal cream ... and best if it is for "Atheletes Foot".

Sweetie if you do your homework on this subject FIRST, you will be surprised to see that a lot of other names are for the same skin infection. Like Jock Itch, Atheletes Foot, Tinea Versicolor....all of which aren't the big deal people make of it and so easy to cure when you understand how, why, and what causes it to remain and continue to grow.

Count yourself lucky! Most women find this under their breasts, especially after swimming in pools, but never talk about it or ask. Most women can lift up their breasts and see small to large areas, light to dark brown areas underneath. In time it can spread by contact by hands or clothing.

It will grow in any moist, dark place so please don't use any of the suggestions above and Rubbing Alcohol will not help to kill the fungus and will further dry out your skin.

Your clothes won't be a special problem to wash. Just wash as you do under normal circumstances, but do try to wash all in hot water. But the most important thing sweetie is to change your clothes daily while this fugus is present and DO NOT wear a second time or day unless washed first.

You will be fine sweetie....this is NOTHING severe to worry about. Talk to mom and dad and google the information on Tinea Versicolor.

well alcohol is going to do precious little good, it is a drying agent! If it is dry skin and not psoriasis, then it should respond to a good moisture barrier. Like bag balm or mentholated petroleum jelly. Slather it on before bed every night, scrub it off every morning, it should soften the dry dead skin enough to take it off a layer at a time. You ought to be down to healthy skin in two weeks or so doing this every day.
