Well - you don't have to eat "just" chicken for meals. You can prepare beef in healthy ways
as it is the way it is prepared that is what is unhealthy. When you fry [yes I said fry] that hamburger use the leanest meat you can and drain it very well. Whole wheat instead of white bread. One day of fasting/one day vegetarian
food and one day of "comfort food". that only leaves 4 days that you have worry about. I like using ground turkey instead of hamburger. Mushrooms take on a quality of meat in a dish.
There are a lot of ways to cook if you look. Sorry you have a hang up about seafood because it is really outasight when fixed properly. Hope this has helped ...

For a healthier diet make sure that the bread products you are consuming are whole grain - that's the best kind because its high in fiber. Try to incorporate fresh fruits and vegetables in whenever you can, and make sure whatever meat you consume is lean. And snacking is ok as long as its healthy, like baby carrots with low-fat Ranch dressing, or fresh cherries with non-fat, plain, natural yogurt.

Eating healthy does not not NOT have to be boring!
Good luck!

Try a salad with anything you want thrown in. Maybe a sandwich or a stir-fry made with a little bt of vegetable oil and all kinds of veggies and maybe some lean cutlets of meat. Try a homeade casserole, weather it be tune or vegetable. A homemade pizza could be a good option, make your own Whole Wheat bread and top with oilive oil, partially skimmed mozerella, and lots of veggies and an option of any kind of meat. Just experiment with cooking for your foods so you dont get bored.

Hope this helps!

Turkey is actualy a lot leaner than chicken and tofu is another good option. Also go online to www.wholefoods.com and click on the link to healthy recipes. In terms of snacks, try snacking on fruits/nuts, frozen yogurt and/or whipped cream instead of ice-cream. If you must have cookies...switch to those 100 calorie cookie packs. they have chips ahoy and oreos etc

Try some turkey and fish. Lamb is good also. I've been eating ostrich jerky lately...it tastes good, it's low on fat and is high in protein. The occasional steak with fried onions and a potato won't hurt anything.

there is nothing wrong with eating red meat, just get lean cuts and cook them in healthy ways. Too bad you don't care for seafood, there is so much to choose from! Snacks are fine, its good to indulge, what fun would life be without a little indulgence!!

turkey, eggs, and there are different ways to prepare chicken. you can eat it cold or hot. try to find different recipes so you don't feel like you're eating the same poultry every time.

also do salads. and if you want to have a little red meat that is leaner than beer, buffalo/bison is tasty & much leaner.

Turkey and soy. Boca burgers are great when you put them on whole wheat bread with all the fixings you would use for a regular burger.
My favorite lunch is a big Greek salad.....lettuce, tomato, cucumbers, bell peppers (red, green, yellow), onion, celery, carrots, olives, feta cheese, dressing.

There are lots of other things you can have besides chicken. You might try going on a weight watchers board. They have lots of info/recipes etc you can try. It's not just for the overweight! Lol.

Eggs are a good source of protein, as well as a good all-around healthy natural food. Peanut butter, nuts, seeds, & beans are also good for protein. Good rule of thumb is to eat natural, unprocessed foods and whole grains.
