I think it would have to be Job.
The reason, I have lost most all that I love. My parents, my two siblings and my daughter is now awaiting another kidney transplant. No, I have not lost all that Job did but, it is hard to live day by day with your child on a machine!
However, this has NOT changed my faith and love in the LORD! If anything, it has strengthened my faith and love! In return, He has restored my joy, even in the midst of my pain...I always knew He was there! It was just hard to get through all the pain so that I could, once again, have a relationship with God no matter the circumstances. It was He who lifted me up and set my feet on "solid ground."

The one I relate to the most is Simon Peter, because he was a self-described sinful man who tried to push the Lord away when He called on him to be a follower. From my own life, I can definitely relate to that.
The person I look up to the most and admire the most, besides Jesus Himself of course, is the Blessed Virgin Mary. She is the perfect example of what it means to have uninhibited, unquestioning faith.
When the angel Gabriel announced to her that she would be the mother of Jesus, she didn't ask a lot of questions about it. She just said yes.

I relate to several, Peter (I sometimes speak out of turn and I sometimes say foolish things. I also know what what a sinner I am) Paul (I am excited about the power of the Gospel, I am like Paul "the chief of all sinners) Saul (sometimes I just cant wait and I make decisions that are not in order with God's timing) Sampson (I have been lead by my passions for women at times to my detriment and the detriment of my testimony for Christ).
All these men are easy to relate to but all of these men have a tremendous thing in common, THEY WERE ALL CALLED BY GOD, anointed to do His will, and alll have a place in the Kingdom, So it gives me hope to know these men with all of their faults were used by God, and are in heaven now to worship our King.
What a Savior and what a book we have to study Gods Holy Word.
AMEN!!!

Paul, he witnessed to everyone he met so that their blood would not be on his hands.
Also, in the early part of his ministry, Paul was taken into the third heavens to see and hear things that could not be uttered on this earth. That must have been an awesome experience.

I relate to Joseph. Joseph came from a home where there was strife and jealousy. His brothers sold him into slavery, but Joseph kept his faith. Many years later, Joseph had become an important ruler in Eygpt and was able to forgive his brothers and save them from starvation. Joseph said "what you (his brothers) meant for evil, God meant (or used) for good.

I find myself relating to my namesake (Rachel, duh) but I think it's because of the Novel the Red Tent by Anita Diamant which is a fictionalized account of the lives of Rachel, Leah, and Dinah in the Old Testament. I really do relate to that Rachel!

Mary Magdalene because she recognized what a terrible sinner she was and washed the feet of Jesus. She loved him so much for delivering her.
