It's the thought of eternity that scares me. Even if sent to heaven for eternity surely there's only so much you can do before you start to get bored but imagine the thought of being there eternally, no end in sight, it would drive me insane. Anyone else think like this?

Most humans probably feel that way only because we are bound by time. We just can't IMAGINE eternity!

I think that once we die, if there is an afterlife, time ceases to exist. It just becomes irrelevant. We won't be counting minutes, hours, days...it's going to only be consciousness. Nothing more.

And I don't think we can imagine that.

On the Near Death Star, we are kept in suspended animation in a simulator that puts us in Florida sitting on the porch all day and waiting for the kids to call. Oh my, that does sound dreadful.

You need to give God, the Creator of the universe more credit than that!
