It truly amazes me how so many who have been 'sucked in' and 'deceived' by the false and inaccurate teachings of the catholic and protestant churches, nowadays, so ignorantly, try to hold fast to to those teachings and go on to even help to continue to lead the world astray.
Doesn't anyone know of "Satans' counterfiet christianity," going on for centuries?
Doesn't anyone care to TRULY STUDY?, ... and understand the REAL TRUTH of the 'Word of God?'

So what's the REAL TRUTH? The assortment of cherry-picked beliefs that your pastor spoon-feeds to you every Sunday? And how do you define TRULY STUDY- reading and re-reading that which you've been told you're supposed to read, and ignoring the rest? The Bible contains a great deal of hateful, violent, and contradictory messages; you'd be in jail for murder if you tried to follow them all. And that's neither a lie nor an inaccuracy; try reading ALL of Exodus and Leviticus, not just the few select passages that are plucked from them and quoted out of context, and without your pastor there to explain away all the incest, rape, blood, and gore.

If your view of the God of Israel is not in line with the people of Israel (Jews) then you have indeed been misled, not by Satan (the christian version is inaccurate, to say the least) but by men who professed to speak for God, aka, false Prophets.
In other words, they don't know what they should know because they've been told otherwise, and convinced that they can't understand it on their own. God's word is NOT a mystery that can only be interpreted by the 'holy ghost' and christians of strong faith. No Jew before Jesus has ever relied on the holy ghost to explain the Tanakh to them, it's there in plain Hebrew. Only those who don't want to know the truth decide not to study.

It's almost always easier to conform new data to an existing viewpoint than allow it to shift the core thinking.
Established beliefs of any stripe are not very prone to change. News will be seen as be seen as enemy propaganda, or classed as "unreliable" or alternately seen as reinforcing or "reliable" largely on how it stands in respect of the existing frame of thought.
It takes definite effort to consider a whole new way of looking at the world. Geographical distributions clearly show that most people believe as their neighbourhood and family believes.
And what do you take the real truth of the "Word of God" to be?
I changed my mind on it 15 years ago, after considerable thought, and study, and prayer.

Instead of adjusting our viewpoint to conform to the example of Christ, some may incline toward those who ‘tickle our ears’ by saying that just reading the Bible and living a good life are enough.
