BatGirl, superman has super powers as a child, as he got older he still had super powers.

If you think of super powes such as running or flying like Superman....well, I suppose you'd be disappointed.
We all have the power of choice and decision. That's what makes us so powerful. Think about that for a min. We have the power to change our lives including others.
The problem comes when we have to figure out what is the right decision!
I always tell people when making choices or decisions to base it on what we should do, not what we want to do.

Good Question!
When God said we are made in His Image, He meant that we can create things, communicate, have curtain feelings and understand like Him. As for super powers, there are things that we can do that a monkey can't. There was a time when we could do more things and our bodies would heal faster and we couldn't die, but that was before sin. Someday, after we die, we will have new bodies, probably like the ones Adam and Eve had before they sinned.

Because an image isn't an exact likeness, but something that has some similarities to the original. For example, the image of Lincoln is on pennies, but that doesn't mean that it can breathe and do other things that Lincoln could.
And maybe you do have superpowers. It's just that everyone has the same ones as you do.

This is an easy one. Thanks for asking. When Jesus died upon the cross, He told us that He gave us the power to do ALL that He does in His name. HEalings, deliverance, all of it. Why do so few have this? Because to be truly Gods, we must love Him enough to obey Him, and we must KNOW that we can have the supernatural abilitiy He has, if we will love Him, obey Him, and reach up and grab onto what He has for us, with faith and positive confession. oh wow it so good.
Few will know or understand that, so they just go to church , and try to live as sinfree as they can. God tells us we msut obey as He obeyed the Father. Jesus didnt come that we can be free to sin and count on grace. JEsus came to give us freedom in Him, to live, and also to be free of SIn. When you grab onto what He has for you, know its there, expect it, speak out for it, and know its coming, it will come, if you stay obedient to the Lord. Oh yes, and its well worth all we have to give it and the wait. amen.
God is so good, all the time. IF we all would just KNOW the full Bible and all the Lord has for us, we would be in celebration all of the time.
Celebrate Jesus today, for He still heals, saves and delivers, and gives us the power to heal and deliver also and to prophesy. The one thing we cant do is save anyone. Thats only Gods job. We cant give life and we cant save others. Only God can give absolut absolutiion, TOTAL FORGIVNESS FOR SINS.. But, other than that, HE gave us the keys to the kingdom, for kingdom living here and to give us the power and annointing to get us thru all we have to go thru here to get to HEaven. ITs all good.
Praise God. God is the image of love, and thats who He created us to be IF we love like Him and obey, we will have the supernatural abilities JEsus has as we operate in the supernatural reaslm instead of the worldly realm.

We don't have superpowers because we aren't suposed to be greater and more powerful than God. We were made in his image because we are his children. In the bible and church (catholic or christian) they taught about how the devil was trying too hard to be more powerful and more like God and he was sent to hell. So the createe is not supposed to be more powerful than the creator in general. hope i answered your question.
