a caution is totally different to being charged with shop lifting, you will be OK, keep safe all the best

I think a caution is only put on a CRB check at the discretion of a top copper.
I got a caution for hitting an ex boyfriend, it shows on my CRB but not under convictions, so may be it will be cleared later.

If you work for the NHS or any other organisation that deals with venerable people. Then you must have an enhanced CRB. This will show up any caution or crime for ever. Therefor I suggest that you are honest with the employer as they should not hold this offence against you but if you do not tell them they most definitely would not employ you.

I am pretty sure that your caution will stay on your record for ever. It is not like driving offences which are cleared up after a time.
My advice is to make sure that (where asked) you disclose the offence to a prospective employer as it will show up if they carry out a CRB check. This will show them that you are honest and have sorted yourself out.
Good luck & hope it works out for you.

A CRB only shows convictions.
However, an Enhanced CRB will show cautions.
As you work in a hospital, your employer will require an enhanced CRB, but don't be too worried. It is a minor offence and my advice would be to speak to the hospitals HR department and explain.

a CRB should always show anything that happened, offences dont clear, but a caution, a caution is given if you admitted the offence is it?? If so, it will stay i think.

particular it is going to continuously happen on an improved CRB verify. Any dealings you have ever had with the Police would be there. from time to time they don't coach on an difficulty-free verify, yet once you're dealing with toddlers or susceptible adults an entire verify is needed. it truly is on no account wiped off.

I do not know but when you fill in your CRB fro your grey form declare it. Given that you work in the NHS see your union for legal advice, they have their own lawyers. or go and see a lawyer on the green card scheme, take any paper work with you. You will know your local crim. lawyers. Keep your hands away from things that are not yours in future
