This full-time position pays 50 cents less but offers benefits, which I'd have to wait much longer for with the temp agency. I interviewed with the company yesterday and they called me with the offer today. Should I accept the position, or stay with the uncertain temporary position? And how do I deal with rude agents who get upset when their workers are offered outside positions? Thanks.

Full time with benefits beats I do not know if my temp job will be over in a week. 50 cents an hour is $20 a week, $16 after taxes, the agents are rude because they have to work to find someone new, instead of getting their cut from you working there. Just smile and say they made an offer I could not refuse, thank them for working with you in the past, and you wish them success in the future. Good luck to you

Take the full time because you will advance and make up the 50 cents in no time but you will gain more than that in the benefits department, as far as dealing with rude agents remind them that they are temporary and you are moving on. Good Luck

I'd go for it!

1.) It's closer to home. With gas prices the way they are... well... need I say more?

2.) Benefits!

3.) Permanent!

As for dealing with the rudeness of "soon to be" former bosses, well... just be as polite as you can. You might need their references one day (and it's just nicer to leave on a good note).

Best of luck!

are you kidding me.....you really have to ask...take the full-time job with benefits......who's to say the temp job is going to become a full-time position...if the temp agency doesn't like it...oh well....you got to look out for you....
