Its been around 7 months we broke up and I have been with other girls but I can't seem to let go of her...what is wrong with me?? I mean I havent even talked to her in 5 months but I still can't let go...whats going on????

well she is still single but the thing is she is no where near me she moved like couple of thousand miles away which I guess is good...we went out for 11 months...damn LOVE IS A ***** sometimes lol

Ypu just really liked/loved her. I've totally been there before, you just have to give it more time. Me and an ex broke up, we were only dating about 4 months, and it took me almost a year to get over it.
love is a bi+ch sometimes.

It actually depends how long you two were together and how deep the relationship was. Sometimes it takes a very short time, and sometimes you can't seem to let go. Nothing it wrong- and it's perfectly healthy. Start getting out and doing the things you enjoy. As hard as this will be, don't go to any places that will remind you of her. Think of it as a grieving time.

ok heres the deal, obviously you still have feelings for her, so there are a few options:
1.) you get back in contact with her, tell her how you're feeling, and try to salvage the relationship, or atleast a friendship.
2.) Let time push her away. Eventually, you will get over her; just be patient. You obviously had strong feelings for her, and it will take time to move on.
3.) Sit down and self-start a reality check. Be honest with yourself about how you're feeling. As soon as you figure that out you can figure out how to deal with it.

It's perfectly natural to reminisce abut xgf's, as long as it doesn't keep you from living your life. I still think about the good times I had with a gf from over ten years ago, but we stay away from each other because in the end we were no good for each other. Whenever I want to contact her, I remind myself of why we split up and the events that led me to us splitting up. That always works.

nothing...its normal...i still think about a guy i dated 2 years ago sometimes...i mean i've been with other guys since then too but i still think about him a lot and compare every other guy i date to him...so i dont know what to tell u except that i know how u feel and yea it sux and all u can really do is try to forget...
PS i dont know about how ur relationship ended but u might have the option of going back to her too...if u feel like doing that go for it...for me that was never an option but i wish it was...

Letting go is hard. I have yet to completely let go of my ex and it is going on 4 mo. You have to move at your own pace. You have to realize that sometimes you will never completely get over something, but you still have to move on like you have

You are mourning the loss of her, very similar to someone close to you dying. Getting over someone takes time, even a year or so. There's nothing wrong with you. Cry if you have to. You have to grieve before you can move on.

Dude, I feel ya...it has been about a year since my ex and I ended things and every time I see her or someone mentions her name, I know my face blushes a little...In time it does go away, especially once you meet someone special...The other girls that you have been with just weren't special enough...You'll be fine in time.

You're stuck in the past. You're holding on to the pleasant memories from your past relationship. You must put those memories behind you if you want to move forward. If you're still hung up on your ex, most girls will avoid you.
