It should be ok as long as you have a very lare property and plenty of time and patience. One large dog is enough for most people, two usually is chaotic, and any more is too much to handle for most people. But if you are sure you are up to this large feat I recommend that you only get one male and many females. And make sure you get them all fixed. two unneutered males will fight. I would not recommend having so many large dogs, but some people with lots of time and energy can handle it. Training is priceless, a must have. To reduce the risk of fighting, it is wise to respect the dogs pecking order. make sure you know which dog is dominant.

I don't have a problem with people having multiple breeds. I'm personally not a fan of kennel dogs... I kinda figure "what's the point?". Be aware that some of the breeds you are looking at have a reputation for being dog aggressive. You also are going to need some sort of plan for exercising that many big dogs. At least only 2 of the breeds should need any special grooming beyond nail trimming.

Well you could research the breed characteristics and if you train them and get them when they are puppies or within a short amount of time you would probably be okay if you can afford all the dog food you'll go through.
As far as names look up dog names on the net there are websites that have dog names or you could ask around and find out what other dog names of dog are around you. You don't want to get something super popular because then your dog is going to get confused and go to the wrong person.
For your great dane if it's a boy you could find someone famous like George clooney or Adam Sandler, or you could name him Thadeous, but if it's a girl you could go with Queen latifah or something like that I'm not sure on girl names the dog i had was a boy.

you shouldnt have so many dogs in one house. the legal ratio is 4 dogs per person, per household.
the breeds are not an issue. Bear is a cute name for a male akite. My friend used to have a great dane mix named Saki (female). a male could be Danny....Weimeraner could be Chelsea or Chloe for a female, and Blue for a male if he is that bluish grey color. it all really depends on the dogs' looks and personality.

Pharaoh Hound female=Cleopatra
male= Ramses

i don't know about all of these at once. akitas can often be dog aggressive. and what are your motives for having all these dogs? i would say get one, and then get another one, giving at least two years in between dogs. this way you can make sure that you can give a certain number of dogs all the attention, care, and food that they need. plus, having all those dogs at once will make them food aggressive, disobedient, and prone to many other bad habits.

have you ever owned any of these dogs? that really needs to be sometthing you should consider. the great danes are very sensitive and should be in the house and not a kennel. the akitas and danes both shed tons and all of these dogs are large in general..i ask that you do your homework very well.

There's nothing wrong with a pack this size - except that I hope you're rich enough NOW - to care for 7 or 8 large dogs each with its own specific needs, and challenges.

Planning and having are 2 different things. Let's put off naming them until you actually have them. Perhaps Flower or Precious would suit that particular dog to a tee?

No not really. Just make sure you put them together when the are young. I have two dogs, male buff colored Cockapoo(cooker and poodle mix), named Benji.And I also have a female black and white Akita named Reggie. Tip: Don't name your dogs with a name that sounds the others. Believe me, they will get very confused on which one you are calling or playing with.

Wow....I hope you're also "planning" on winning the lottery. Dogs are incredibly expensive to maintain -- especially large breeds. Their names would be the least of your problems!

I hope you have a good job or a rich husband to pay for them. Dogs - especially specialty breeds - are not cheap to buy or maintain. Same goes foe kennel facilities.
